About Us

The Merriwether Elementary PTO is a parent-led, volunteer-run organization committed to supporting our students, teachers, and school community. We are not funded by the school or district—every dollar we spend comes directly from donations and fundraisers.

Our mission is to enhance the elementary school experience for every Colt by funding projects, hosting events, and building strong connections between families and school staff. We work closely with school administration to make sure our efforts align with what the school truly needs—so every contribution makes a meaningful impact.

This year, our PTO funds will help support:

  • Teacher appreciation gifts, meals, and events

  • Family events, such as our Spring Dance, Family Movie Night, and Family Bingo Night

  • Playground supply bags for each classroom

  • Anything else the school may need

No contribution is too small, and every bit of support helps us give back to the school we all care about. Whether you donate, volunteer, or simply attend an event, you’re part of what makes Merriwether so special—and we’re so thankful to have you with us.
