Who We Are…

Marlborough Parent Teacher Organization, Inc. (PTO) is a non-profit organization that consists of volunteers working closely with the teachers and parents of the MES community.

What We Do…

The goal of the MES PTO is to raise money through various fundraisers throughout the school year. 100% of the raised funds are put back into the school, directly benefiting the teachers and students of MES and enriching their classrooms.

Programs We Supported in 2016-17

  • The PTO donated over $25,000 items and programs to the school in 2016-17
  • Magic Show with Justin Mazz for the Summer Reading Challenge
  • Educational Enhancements for each grade
    • PreK explored Magnets
    • The Kindergarten classes learned about Force and Interactions
    • First Graders got to experience hands on experiments on Light and Sound
    • The Second and Fifth Grade explored Matter
    • Third Graders learned all about Rocks and Minerals
    • The Forth Grade experimented with Energy and Physics
    • The Sixth Grade end of year celebration
  • Teacher Conference Dinners – The PTO coordinates dinner for our teachers during the fall conferences
  • Staff Appreciation Luncheon – The PTO coordinates lunch for our teachers and during teacher appreciation week
  • Performance by Griffith Academy Irish Step Dancers for Multicultural celebration
